MariNova’s president, James Frost has 30 years of experience in various aspects of the shipping and port industries. Along with our strategic partners, we provide creative solutions and thinking, based on real industry experience, not theory. We give you practical, do-able options. MariNova is headed by James (Jim) Frost, B.A., M.A., M.B.A. He is a marketing and business development specialist, experienced in port marketing, short sea shipping, expedition cruise and ferry operations. He has been involved in a number of start-ups, having developed and managed a container feeder service as well as a new cruise product.

Mr. Frost is well versed in recent trends in world shipping and how ports and shipping lines can exploit them to their fullest advantage. He has also developed strategies to significantly increase traffic on government-owned and operated ferry services.
